Step 1 Warming up
1.Use powerpoint to show some pictures and learn some new words
2.Preread questions: Do you like listening to ghost stories?
Do you think /believe there are ghosts in the word?
Step 2 Presentation
1.Listen and answer:

2. What did Andy find in the park?
3. In fact (事实上), is there a ghost in the park?
2.Guess the meanings

3.Listen to the tape again and finish true or false questions on page60
4.Read carefully and answer (work in pairs):
1. Where did they as usual sit?
2. Why were they frightened?
3. What did they hear at that time?
4. What did they do when they heard the strange noise?
5. What did Millie say to Andy?
6. Where did they take the little cat to?
5.Read again and finish exerciseB2. Let’s students act out.
6.Finish exercise C2 and retell the text.
7.Discussion:
Two students in a group, say something about their own ghost stories.
